You might have noticed, that I took a bit of a hiatus for the last 18 months. Instead of blogging for my own blog, I have been a regular contributor to the style and design section of Organic Spa Magazine. Over the years I wrote about 100 posts for their online presence, in case you want to check them out.
My latest post was about the beautifully scented candles by Warmth Soy Candles Co. and as a thank you, the company sent me some samples that included the Lovestruck scent. It made me realize, that I miss writing for my own blog since I enjoy sharing new finds that combine sustainability and modern design. The soy candles arrived thoughtfully packaged in an eco-friendly alternative to plastic bubble wrap by Geami. The box included three attractive tins with the scents Nectar, Marmalade, and Lovestruck. Maybe the upcoming Valentine’s Day had a role in it, but I was smitten right away by the Lovestruck scent that has hints of Onka Bean, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, and Amber. Like all Warmth Candles, it’s handcrafted with 100% renewable soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks and phthalate-free essential & perfume oil blends.
Soy wax candles are a green alternative to petroleum-based ones. They are made from soy wax, which comes from the oil of soybeans and is therefore a renewable resource. In addition, soy candles don’t produce carcinogens when burnt and last longer. You might want to try the Lovestruck Candles by Warmth Soy Candles Co., in case you want to refuel your passion this upcoming Valentine’s Day. Who knows, what they might spark for you?
