In preparation for the upcoming NYIGF next weekend I’m in the process of researching any sustainable companies I want to visit and Paper Cloud is one of them. I love the whimsical designs on their earth-friendly pillows and lampshades that almost feel like doodles. Some of them are inspired by wood planks, wheat, poppies, or even dewdrops and are a great way to integrate nature into eco-modern homes.
Paper Cloud was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Matthew & Ariana Broerman and originally started out as a card-making business. All their products use only 100% linen, a strong yet soft natural renewable fiber that’s naturally grown without the use of harmful pesticides. The designers only use water-based inks for their screen prints on fabric and everything is handmade right at their home studio in Cincinnati, Ohio. The handmade quality shines through in their quirky designs that bring an effortless chic to any home. You can choose or mix and match the colors and designs you love which makes their products even more unique. Their new designs and rich color schemes of their harvest collection make me actually look forward to fall in the midst of summer.
